Tucked in the mountains near Heber City, Deer Creek Reservoir offers calm morning water, wide open bays, and a backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains. It's one of our favorite places to ride — spacious enough for beginners to find their footing and beautiful enough that experienced riders keep coming back.

Hours: Lessons available daily, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. by appointment, May through September. Note: Deer Creek is a state park — daily entrance is $20 and isn't included in your session.

An eFoil is an electric hydrofoil surfboard that lifts you above the water on a wing, giving the sensation of flying. There's no wake, no noise, and no need for waves — just smooth, quiet flight across the reservoir. Deer Creek's protected bays make it an ideal spot to experience it for the first time or to log more air time.
