eFoil buyer's guide

How much does an eFoil cost?

A complete SiFly eFoil set runs $5,990 to $9,490. Here is what moves the price, what comes in the box, and how to ride one before you spend a dollar on your own.

The short answer

At Adventure Elevated, a complete SiFly eFoil set starts at $5,990 for the Rider and tops out at $9,490 for the Stellar X.

That price is for everything you need to fly: board, mast, motor, front wing and stabilizer, battery, charger, remote, and travel bags. There is no separate battery or remote to add before you can ride.

What makes one eFoil cost more than another

Every SiFly set flies on the same motor, battery, and remote. The price difference comes almost entirely from the board:

  • Soft-top foam (Rider Series) — impact-resistant closed-cell foam. Forgiving, durable, and the least expensive way into the sport.
  • Inflatable (Lite Series) — carbon and PVC that packs down to fit in a car trunk. You pay for portability.
  • Full carbon (Stellar Series) — lighter, stiffer, and more responsive. You pay for performance and ride feel.

Board size matters too. Bigger boards float more and feel steadier while you learn; smaller boards carve harder once you can fly.

What is included in the price

Every complete SiFly set comes with:

  • Board and hydrofoil unit (mast and motor), matched to the series
  • A front wing and stabilizer suited to your riding style
  • A 2300 Wh Powercell battery and smart charger — up to 2 hours of ride time per charge
  • A backlit wireless remote with wireless charging
  • Padded travel bags for the full kit
  • A 2-year factory warranty on the complete set

Costs beyond the board

Plan for a few extras:

  • Safety gear. A helmet and a lifejacket or impact vest. A wetsuit makes spring and fall sessions far more comfortable.
  • A second wing, later. Many riders start on a large, stable wing and add a smaller one as they progress. Our wing guide explains the range.
  • Charging. You charge from a standard outlet, so the running cost per session is small.

Ride one before you buy

The cheapest mistake is the one you never make. Before you buy, get on the water:

  • A 90-minute lesson starts at $225 at Deer Creek.
  • Rentals start at $175 an hour for riders who have foiled before.
  • Through Fly Before You Buy, what you spend on your lesson or rental goes toward your purchase.

eFoil price questions

Why are eFoils so expensive?
An eFoil packs a waterproof electric motor, a large lithium battery, a carbon or composite mast and wings, and a wireless remote into one board that has to survive water, impacts, and years of use. A complete set replaces a boat, fuel, and a tow rope with something that fits in a car.
What is the least expensive SiFly eFoil?
The Rider eFoil Set at $5,990. It uses the same motor, battery, and remote as the carbon Stellar sets, on a forgiving soft-top board that is the easiest way to learn.
Is a carbon board worth the extra cost?
If you want to carve hard and ride fast, yes — carbon is lighter and more responsive. If you are learning or want a durable board for family and friends, a soft-top Rider set gets you the same flight for thousands less.
Does my lesson count toward buying an eFoil?
Yes. With our Fly Before You Buy program, what you spend on a lesson or rental goes toward your purchase.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 2 hours per charge on the 2300 Wh Powercell. Actual ride time depends on rider weight, wing choice, and how fast you fly.
What warranty comes with a SiFly set?
Every complete SiFly set includes a 2-year factory warranty.
